Classes are held at Pinecrest Community Center.

Class Overview:

This Contemporary class will keep incorporating many of the foundations of modern dance technique in more complex combination. The class will include suspension, fall and recovery from Doris Humphrey’s Technique, contraction and release from Martha Graham’s Technique, the use of momentum and connecting breath with movement from Merce Cunningham’s Technique. Students will explore new ways of moving in combinations and diverse methods of improvisation.

Dress Code:

Purple leotard and short.  Uniforms are available for purchase before and after the class.

No Jewelry (except small stud earrings). Dangling earrings and hoops are strictly forbidden due to safety reasons.
