Classes are held at Pinecrest Community Center.

Class Overview

This class prepares the students for social environments.  The students will learn diverse steps and turns in an easy and fun way. It will benefit the students with self-confidence, grace, coordination, posture while they will discover social skills that will help them forever.

Dress Code

Purple leotard and short, sneaker or tennis shoes.  Uniforms are available for purchase before and after the class.

No Jewelry (except small stud earrings). Dangling earrings and hoops are strictly forbidden due to safety reasons.

Additional Information

Students’ progress through these hip hop levels similar to grades in an academic school; however, all students move at various rates.  Some spend more than two years in one level while the body and the mind learn to work together; some may progress much faster.  When the student has learned the hip hop technique appropriate for each level and when the student’s body has become strong enough to accomplish those movements, then the student is moved to the next level.
